Jamaal McLaurin, Buyer Specialist at NexaEdge Realty Partners, is a dedicated real estate

individual needs of every client. After moving to Louisiana in 2021, Jamaal lived in Prairieville
before making Zachary home. His approach to real estate is centered around learning what
each client truly needs and confidently guiding them toward the right home and outcome. Before
entering real estate, Jamaal served in the United States Army and later gained valuable sales
and relationship-building experience at Lowe’s. During his military service, he served as a lead
Ammunition Team Chief, organizing and coordinating multiple ammunition teams during
large-scale base training operations. His leadership experience, discipline, and ability to stay
focused under pressure are strengths he now brings to his clients. Jamaal especially enjoys
working with veterans, first-time homebuyers, investors, and new construction clients. Outside of
real estate, Jamaal is an avid fisherman who enjoys freshwater fishing and is beginning to
explore more of South Louisiana’s saltwater fishing opportunities. He also volunteers with the
